In November 2025, we were proud to contribute to the "Hong Kong Cybersecurity Attack & Defense Drill 2025", the city’s first large-scale, real-world cyber drill. Organized by the Digital Policy Office (DPO), this landmark event was designed to test the resilience of Hong Kong’s critical infrastructure against sophisticated modern threats.

During the drill, we deployed elite experts to serve both the Red Team and the Blue Team.

Our red team specialists acted as "Challengers," simulating real-world hacker tactics to identify hidden vulnerabilities within the systems of participating organizations. This proactive approach helped participants understand their attack surfaces from an adversary’s point of view.

Simultaneously, our blue team experts provided on-site support to help organizations monitor, detect, and respond to these simulated attacks in real-time. By integrating our technology—specifically Sentry CNAPP and Sentry EDR—we demonstrated how to maintain business continuity under pressure.

The 2025 exercise was a rigorous test involving significant scale and complexity, reflecting the high stakes of Hong Kong's digital security:

3 Days of Continuous Combat: The exercise spanned three full days (and nights), requiring non-stop vigilance and rapid response.

Over 2,000 Participants: A massive coordination effort involving technical experts from diverse sectors.

40+ Participating Organizations: This included government departments, public bodies, and critical infrastructure operators, all testing their defenses simultaneously.

10-12 Target Systems: Each organization faced intense scrutiny across multiple core systems, making it one of the most comprehensive drills in the region’s history.

Our participation in this high-level exercise underscores our commitment to the Hong Kong market and our strategic partnership with the HKSAR Government. By helping to identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by actual malicious actors, we are helping to ensure that Hong Kong remains a safe and stable global hub.
