Securing Global Expansion for a Leading Automotive Digital Platform

10 August, 2026

For a leading automotive digital platform in China, going global means more than launching a website in a new market. It means building digital services that can support customers, automotive brands, and business partners across different regions—while maintaining the security and reliability that global operations demand.

With more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, the company provides digital services for consumers, automotive manufacturers, and dealerships. Building on its expertise in automotive content, products, and technology, it launched a global platform focused on helping Chinese automotive brands reach international audiences.

Today, the platform has expanded into seven overseas markets, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, and Singapore, with further expansion planned across Asia, Europe, and South America. AWS provides the cloud infrastructure supporting this growing international business.

As the company's global footprint grew, however, so did the complexity of securing its cloud environment.

The Challenge

Keeping security in step with global growth

Entering new markets brought new workloads, applications, and security requirements. With services distributed across regions, the security team needed a reliable way to understand what was running across the environment and where potential risks existed.

Asset visibility became increasingly important. As new services and infrastructure were deployed, maintaining an accurate inventory of servers, applications, and configurations through fragmented approaches became more difficult. Without a unified view, security teams could not always determine whether newly deployed resources had been properly protected.

At the same time, the platform's growing international presence increased its exposure to cyber threats. Customer-facing automotive services needed protection against unauthorized access, malware, web attacks, and other malicious activities, but security controls also had to operate without disrupting business-critical applications.

Compliance added another layer of complexity. Operating across multiple markets meant keeping security practices aligned with different requirements and maintaining visibility into security posture over time—not simply preparing for an assessment when an audit was approaching.

The company therefore needed more than another security product. It needed a security foundation that could scale alongside its international business.

The Solution

A unified workload security foundation on AWS

The company deployed Yulevo's Senvo Workload Protection Platform across its AWS environment, bringing asset visibility, risk management, threat detection, and security assessment into a unified security operation.

The first priority was gaining a clear picture of the environment. Lightweight agents automatically discovered and monitored workloads, giving security teams a centralized view of servers, applications, configurations, and potential risks. When new overseas services came online, the team could identify newly deployed resources and assess their security posture without relying on fragmented asset records.

This visibility also enabled the company to move security further upstream. Rather than waiting for vulnerabilities to surface in production, continuous vulnerability and configuration assessment helped security teams identify potential risks earlier in the development and deployment process. When new automotive services were introduced in overseas markets, security assessment could take place alongside the business launch, helping the company expand without allowing security blind spots to grow with it.

Protection at runtime was equally important. Yulevo monitored workloads for suspicious activities, unauthorized access, malware, web attacks, and more advanced threats. Its lightweight protection approach helped minimize the impact on production workloads while maintaining continuous security monitoring for customer-facing applications.

As the company expanded across markets, security governance also became more continuous. Automated assessments and policy-based monitoring provided ongoing visibility into security posture and helped the company maintain consistent security standards across its cloud environment.

Together, these capabilities established a more centralized and proactive approach to securing the company's growing AWS environment.

The Results

A stronger foundation for global growth

The deployment changed how the company managed security across its international operations.

Instead of relying on fragmented asset information and periodic security checks, the security team gained a more consistent view of workloads and risks across regions. This made it easier to understand changes in the environment, identify potential issues, and respond before they became larger operational problems.

Automation also reduced the amount of repetitive work required from security teams. Asset discovery, security assessment, and threat monitoring could be performed continuously, allowing security personnel to spend more time on higher-value security initiatives rather than manual inspection.

The company also gained greater visibility into its security and compliance posture as its international footprint expanded. Rather than treating compliance as a one-time exercise, security governance could become part of day-to-day cloud operations.

Most importantly, security no longer had to become a bottleneck for international growth. With a scalable security foundation supporting its AWS environment, the company could continue launching services in new markets while maintaining protection for the workloads and applications behind them.

Security That Scales with the Business

Global expansion is an ongoing process. Every new market can introduce new infrastructure, applications, users, threats, and regulatory requirements.

For this automotive digital platform, establishing a unified security foundation meant that security could evolve alongside the business rather than catching up after expansion had already taken place.

By combining AWS infrastructure with Yulevo's workload protection capabilities, the company strengthened its ability to protect critical workloads, improve security operations, and support continued international growth.

Yulevo helps enterprises secure their cloud environments and build the security foundation needed to grow globally with confidence.
