Recap: Our Insights from National Cybersecurity Week 2024

2 April, 2026

Editor’s Note: This article was originally published on September 27, 2024. Please note that Qingteng has since evolved its global brand identity and is now operating as Yulevo. The innovative security frameworks and strategic partnerships discussed below continue to drive our mission of protecting critical digital infrastructure.

In response to the "2024 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week," we were honored to participate in the National Cybersecurity Week Lunch Event hosted by the Hong Kong China Network Security Association (HKCNSA).

The event brought together key voices in the industry, including Mr. David Ip (Chairman of HKCNSA,pictured below), Mr. Lam Cheuk-ho (Chief Superintendent of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau, HKPF), and Mr. Chen Liguo (General Systems Manager, Digital Policy Office).

Our co-founder and Senior Vice President, Mr. Jame Cui (pictured below), joined these distinguished guests to share our vision for the future of network defense and the stability of Hong Kong’s digital environment.

In an era where cyber threats have escalated to regional and even national levels, the theme of this year’s cybersecurity week—“Cybersecurity for the People, Cybersecurity by the People”—resonates deeply with our values.

As the landscape becomes more volatile—marked by supply chain attacks and remote vulnerabilities—we believe that building a robust defense system is no longer just a technical requirement, but a social responsibility.

The recent global IT outages caused by traditional security tool failures have highlighted a critical truth: legacy mechanisms are no longer enough. During the keynote, we explained how we use continuous monitoring and analysis to detect even the most sophisticated hackers. By perceiving changes in asset relationships, process activities, and network operations, we generate security indicators that allow us to identify threats in real-time.

For us, participating in the National Cybersecurity Week is about more than sharing technology; it’s about fostering a culture of resilience. We are proud to stand alongside the HKCNSA and government bodies to promote awareness and coordinate emergency responses.

As we continue our journey as Yulevo, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the Hong Kong market. We will continue to innovate, collaborate, and protect the digital foundations that our society relies on.
